Captain Crabuchin
Captain Crabuchin is the boss of the 8th world, Space Case, and the main antagonist in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (HD). He stole all of the golden bananas and AiAi, MeeMee, Baby, GonGon, YanYan and Doctor are on an adventure to find them all, which leads them to face the space pirate himself.
Description
He has three main attacks, which are dragging his right arm around the stage in a sweeping fashion, slashing his scissor hands into the stage, either in quick bursts or slower attacks, and jumping into the air, causing the outer parts of the stage to shake. In the later stages of the battle, he also summons in electric orbs, which knocks the player back a distance. How much the player is knocked back depends on his or her weight. His weak point is his bottom.
Boss Battle Tutorial
Main Strategy
To defeat him, you must run up to his butt and hit it. Wait and dodge until he stops whatever attack he is doing. Then, hit his butt. Repeat this pattern until you have defeated him.
Strategy if you use Baby
Baby can also run between his legs to hit him. Repeat the same strategy as the main strategy, but run between his legs instead to hit him.
Changes in Banana Blitz HD
It is no longer possible to run between his legs even if you use Baby, as an invisible collision detection has been added to prevent this. Additionally, the camera no longer pans upwards as far when he jumps into the air. He also summons a slightly greater number of electric orbs.

- Captain Crabuchin was originally called Captain Nikalsa in the original Banana Blitz.
- In Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, the new music used for this boss fight is the Storm theme from Super Monkey Ball.
