YanYan
YanYan (ヤンヤン YanYan) is a supporting character in the Super Monkey Ball series. She is very energetic, fast, and playful, but can show her shy side due to her crush on AiAi.
She first appears in Banana Blitz, and is present in every game since Super Monkey Ball 3D (following her absence in Step & Roll).
Appearance
YanYan wears an orange dress. She has brown fur and a large bushy tail, and her hair is tied up on both sides of her head. She wears blue and red plastic balls as hair decoration, which look very similar to the balls in which the monkeys roll inside.
As of Banana Rumble YanYan has darker fur and smaller, but thicker eyebrows. Her hair now has a smoother appearance and is now held by yellow and blue accessories. Lastly, she now sports a white on blue hoodie shirt and short, black pants.

In Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, YanYan joins the rest of the group to retrieve the eight golden bananas stolen by Captain Crabuchin. Her stats are as follows:

YanYan is absent in Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll and Super Monkey Ball: Sakura Edition. She returns in Super Monkey Ball 3D and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz, however she is only available to play in party games. In Banana Blitz HD and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania, she is finally playable in the main game again.

While her acceleration is loose, YanYan's low friction grants her access to immense top speeds once she builds it up. Taming her top speed and unwieldy control is the key to getting the most out of her playstyle.
Strengths
YanYan is seen as an energetic and an adorable girl. Her father, the strongest ape in the world, taught her Hachi-en-Ken. In the Main Game of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, YanYan is the highest jumper of all the characters. Monkeys would usually fall for her nice and cuteness, but that was different for Aiai. She would go blasting off with her imagination (thinking about AiAi).
