Jet is a character in the Super Monkey Ball series. He is shown to be cunning and aggressive, but also hides a romantic side which he wants nobody to speak of. He makes his first appearance in Super Monkey Ball 3D.

Appearance

Jet is a light-blue monkey with yellow fur. He has a long, thin tail, and wears a rose-colored shirt with white sleeves. He has white cuffs of fur on his wrists.

Role in Games

Jet makes no appearances interacting with AiAi other than in the Super Monkey Ball 3D trailer, so not much is known about him. In the trailer, he snatches a banana AiAi wanted, and then fights him over a Banana Bunch. This showcases, along with his description, that the two may be equal lovers of bananas, hence their rivalry.

He is only playable in Super Monkey Ball 3D's Monkey Race and Monkey Fight. He also re-appears in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz, but is only playable in party games. He makes a minor appearance in Super Monkey Ball Bounce as one of the last characters in need of rescuing.

Jet re-appears in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania for use in the main game for the first time, but re-uses AiAi's animations.

Super Monkey Ball 3D Website/Game: A kung fu master monkey fighting his way around the world, he has chosen AiAi as his archrival. Despite his tough act, he is a romantic and a lover of bananas.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz: A kung-fu master on a trip around the world. In a moment of enlightenment, he declared AiAi his rival the moment they first met. His stubborn refusal to lose means he can be quite mean at times, but at heart he's a romanticist with a keen taste for bananas. This side of his character must never be spoken of.

Trivia

• There's another character named Jet in the Sonic Riders series, also created by Sega.
• Jet and Jam share the same animations as AiAi in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania. For example if one of AiAi's three winning animations is where he sticks his rear end out repeatedly while shaking his hands together, Jam and Jet will perform that animation if they complete a stage.
