Jam is a character in the Super Monkey Ball series. He is a personal athletics trainer, and helps get the rest of the monkeys back into shape. He also acts as a comic relief, being characterised as clumsy, loud and energetic. He makes his debut appearance in Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll.
Role in games
In Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll, Jam gives the player tips throughout the game and acts as the comic relief, appearing in cutscenes between worlds. He also appears in some party games, such as being the judge in Red Light, Green Light.
Jam is absent in Super Monkey Ball: Sakura Edition. Jam becomes a playable character in Super Monkey Ball 3D and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz, but is only playable in party games. In Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, he is playable in the main game for the first time, however he reuses AiAi's animations.
Appearance
Jam has brown fur. He wears a shirt with a banana on it and yellow shorts, along with yellow wristbands. He has a unibrow like GonGon and has a short stubby tail like AiAi and GonGon.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz: A cheerful and energetic guy who is mad about sports. He is a little scatterbrained, but is always willing to get behind AiAi in anything he does.
