Bazooka Baboon or MegaMonkey9000 is the boss of the 2nd world, Jumble Jungle, in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (HD).

Description

Being the second boss, this enemy has a learning curve in order to be defeated. He will shoot missiles at your monkey with a pink, weak point on top of them. Jumping on these will send the missiles back at him although they will not hit him each time. Landing six hits will defeat him and reward you with a piece of the Golden Banana Bunch.

Tutorial

In order to defeat him, jump onto the flashing pink parts of his missiles, which will send them back to him, attacking him. Repeat this pattern until he is defeated. After the third hit, he will start sending missiles in large groups and endanger you into falling out more likely. Carefully, run from these missiles, and jump on any missile that is close to you.

Changes in Banana Blitz HD

The missiles now deal increased knockback, especially vertically, being able to lift the player off the ground with ease. Additionally, Bazooka Baboon will now always fire ten shots in the second phase, instead of a random number between three and twelve. The number of hits required is also inconsistent as it depends on where the boss is when he gets hit. Finally, returned missiles have worse pathfinding, and are more likely to crash into the stage.
