Cobalt Caverns - Bonus Stage (Banana Blitz)
Cobalt Caverns - Bonus Stage is the bonus stage of the 6th world, Cobalt Caverns, in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (HD).
Description
This stage features a large circle with bananas on it that tilts left to right. The large circle has a chartreuse outside. This circle has a stationary, circular platform surrounding it. There are red, indigo, and green-capped mushrooms and indigo sides on this stationary, circular platform, and there are two small corners with vermilion rails, one of which has a single banana and with the other being where the player starts.
Strategy
Get all of the bananas on the large tilting circle by following them in a circular pattern until you have gotten them all. Make sure not to get too close to the edges of the circle when getting the outer bananas as it is very easy to roll off. Once you have collected all the bananas on the large circle, hop onto the small, vermilion railed corner with the single banana, and get the banana.
Trivia
- Four of the bananas on this bonus stage are actually double bananas, meaning there are two bananas in the exact same spot. Collecting these bananas increases your banana count by 2, and results in the banana collect sound being twice as loud. These four bananas are in a line 90 degrees anticlockwise to the starting point.
- This is no longer the case in Banana Blitz HD.
