Val
Val (ヴァル Vual) is the muscle and a member of the Gala family debuting in Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble. Alongside Tee and Fes, he travels around the world in search of treasure.
Appearance
Val is a light brown lion, with two sharp fangs, dark brown mane, a long tail with fur on the tip of it. He sports a yellow and green shirt, with a long white tie tucked into his pants. His pants are black, and a single button black formal waistcoat vest.

He can be unlocked in the point shop by completing World 7 Candy Castle, there he can the be purchased for 3000 pts.

Val is a Spin Dash demon, offering the second highest Spin Dash power in the game at a force of 0.47. This dizzying burst movement is balanced out by having an extended cooldown time of 1.5-3.5 seconds. To avoid this weakness, careful usage of this powerful Spin Dash is advised, but more often than not, one Spin Dash should be all you need to get your momentum going with Val. As a result, Val is a top choice for stages focused around gaining speed immediately with Spin Dash.
