Miles "Tails" Prower, or Tails for short, is a main character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series and Sonic's best friend. In the Super Monkey Ball series, he appears in Banana Mania and Banana Rumble.

Appearance

Tails is a young anthropomorphic fox cub with a unique genetic mutation giving him two tails instead of one. He possesses mostly amber fur with white fur around his muzzle with cheek tufts, front torso with fluffy fur on top of his chest, and the tips of his tails. He also has large triangular ears with white canals on top of his head, a small black nose, and three locks of hair on his forehead. Tails wears cuffed white gloves with a gray band around each wrist, white socks; and shoes that are red from the heel to the middle and white from the middle to the toe with gray soles, each with a light blue band around the ankle.

With a comfortably high Speed/Brake stat, Tails offers smooth, fast movement with few notable weaknesses. His Spin Dash comes with a unique perk of having a shortened cooldown time of 0.75-2 seconds. This allows Tails to easily chain Spin Dashes together and keep the speed going with no hassle.

Appearances

In Banana Mania

Tails is unlocked by spending 5000 points in the Point Shop. When playing as Tails or Sonic, all bananas throughout the stages are replaced with rings from the Sonic the Hedgehog games, complete with unique sound effects. Banana bunches turn into rings that glow with a multi-colored sparkle. However, he is only playable in Main Game and unavailable in Party Games. His ball is yellow compared to the usual red the monkeys use.

In Banana Rumble

Tails returns in Banana Rumble, now as part of the SEGA PASS paid DLC.
