Redux
Redux is the 9th stage of the 6th world, Magma Valley, in Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll.
Description
This floor is made up of several squares and two corner pieces, which are in the opposite direction of each other. During the stage, the blocks pulse in and out. The goal is on the corner across from the starting position. There are bananas and skulls on the moving squares. There are one-eyed, cylindrical obstacles at the beginning and ending of the stage. There is a play switch and a fast-forward switch.
Goal Tutorial
To get to the goal, press the play switch. Then, wait for a block to come to you, and then roll and stay onto it until the blocks come together. When the blocks merge, make your way as much as you can to the opposite side from where you are. Stay on the block on which you are when the blocks are separated. Repeat this strategy until you make it to the block closest to the goal. Once you are on the block closest to the goal, wait for it to reach the corner on which the goal is, and then head into the goal.
Trivia
- This level is similar in concept to Blocks from Super Monkey Ball. As such, it can be thought of as a redux of that stage.
