Polar Festival
Polar Festival (ポーラーフェスティバル, Polar Festival) is the 5th world in Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll. This world is where the difficulty ramps up. The music is slightly similar to Smooth Sherbet from Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (HD). The soundtrack is called "The Guiding Star" with vocals by Patty Gaddum.
Description
The world takes place in a polar location, as the name suggests. The background is snowy, with platforms containing trees in some levels. Obstacles in this world include cylindrical jack-o'-lanterns of 3 sizes, and chunks of ice. The small jack-o'lanterns take 1 shot to destroy in co-op mode, normal sized ones take 2, and ice chunks and big jack-o'-lanterns take 3. Uniquely, the ice chunk obstacles can actually be pushed by the player, though only slowly, and are pushed quickly by being shot.

Trivia
- The name of the vocal track for this world, The Guiding Star, is probably a reference to Polaris, known as the Northern Star, which is often used as a guiding star in navigation due to its relative brightness and very close proximity to celestial North.
