Chimpan Sea
Chimpan Sea (サルマリン, Monkey Marine) is the third world of Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll. It is considered slightly more difficult than Monkey Island and Excavation Site; however, it is still considered easy.
Description
The world takes place underwater, possibly under Pirates Ocean from Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz. Obstacles in this world are rocks, both tall and thin rocks and short and wide rocks, which require 6 shots each to be destroyed in co-op mode, gradually cracking as more shots are fired. There are also short, thin rocks that take only 3 shots to be destroyed.

Like the other worlds in the game, Chimpan Sea has ten levels, nine normal levels and one bonus stage.

Hidden Banana
This world's hidden banana is the Deep Sea Banana. It is located in the stage, Gate Switch. After going through the gate, the player must turn left where the banana is waiting for him or her.

Trivia
- This world introduces Teleporters and Switches.
- None of the things this world introduces appears in Far East.
- The only type of switch that does not appear in this world is the fast-forward switch.
- Tako, the boss of Pirates Ocean in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, appears in the background of some levels.
- This world's name is a pun on "chimpanzee."
