Blocks
Blocks is the 8th Beginner floor in (Super) Monkey Ball.
In Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, it is the 23rd Beginner and Ultimate stage in Challenge Mode, as well as World 2-2 in Story Mode.
In Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, on top of its original position, it is also the 8th SMB1 Marathon stage.
Description
The stage consists of a square made up of a 5x5 matrix of small square platforms. Around the stage are four corner platforms. The small squares move in and out, with the four corner squares meeting the corner pieces as they move outward, and the squares joining together to form a single large square as they move inward. The goal is on the corner across from the start. There are banana bunches on the other two corners. The squares when joined together form a big Dole logo.
Strategy
Clearing the stage requires balancing on the small squares as they move inwards and outwards, and awareness of when the squares are close enough together to safely cross over them. Moving quickly allows the stage to be completed in one cycle.
Reappearances
Harder versions of this stage, called Blocks Slim and Dodecagon, appear in Advanced and Expert respectively. As for Blocks itself, it has reappeared several times throughout the series, namely:

- In N-Gage as Beginner Floor 8
- In Touch & Roll as Displacement
- In iOS as Volcanic Pools - Stage 15
Trivia
- Due to the series no longer having a collaboration with Dole, the Dole logo is not seen on this stage in Deluxe and Banana Mania.
