Monkey Soccer (Banana Mania)

Monkey Soccer is a Party Game in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania. In it, 2 teams of 5 face off in a game of soccer or "football".
Gameplay
The game is played by controlling monkeys in balls, as they kick a ball around, and try to score in the other team's goal. Like in many soccer simulators, the player controls one monkey at a time, with the other members of the team being controlled by AI. The AI players' behaviour is determined by whether the player is currently in defensive, normal or offensive mode, which can be changed at any time. If one team is entirely controlled by CPUs, the CPU team will be in normal mode when the score is tied, offensive mode when they are behind, and defensive mode when they are winning.
As in normal soccer, the monkeys must co-ordinate to move across the pitch, passing to each other to avoid the other team stealing the ball. One point is scored whenever the ball is kicked into a goal. The game is split into 2 halves, and players switch sides at half-time. If by the end of the game the score is tied, a penalty shootout takes place, if enabled. The game is simplified in many ways, however. For example, the ball cannot go out due to walls marking the boundaries of the pitch, and there is no offside rule.
When in possession of the ball, the player can either dribble, pass to a nearby teammate or take a shot. While the opponent is in possession of the ball, the player can either slide tackle, or change which monkey they are controlling. A power shot can be performed by shooting immediately upon receiving the ball, either from a pass or from bouncing it off the wall. A power pass can be performed by passing the ball under the same circumstances.
The game has 3 modes. In Exhibition Mode, a single game is played, either against another player or the CPU. In Tournament Mode, a single player must take on and defeat 4 CPU teams in a row to win. In Penalty Shootout Mode, only a penalty shootout is played.
