Slopes (Super Monkey Ball 2)

Slopes (or Tub in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania) is the 7th Beginner stage in Super Monkey Ball 2 and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, the 26th Beginner stage and Ultimate stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, and the 7th Marathon stage of Super Monkey Ball 2 in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 1-7 in Super Monkey Ball 2 and as World 1-11 in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It is given a 2 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description
This stage is considered easy. It features three large slopes, hence the name. There are flat platforms adjoined to these slopes, with one of them having the goal. There is also a large, rectangular platform with six sloped, triangular prisms on it.
Goal Tutorial
To get to the goal, bypass the sloped, triangular prisms, and then roll up the first large slope. Repeat this pattern until you make it to the goal platform. Once you have made it to the goal platform, roll into the goal.
Shortcut
Run straight into the prism right in front of you. Then, land in front of the last, centered prism, and then fly off that prism straight into the goal.
Trivia
- Despite their names in Deluxe, Rising Inclines looks more like a tub, whereas "Tub" has a layout that could be considered rising inclines.
- In Deluxe, it was supposed to be renamed "Rising Inclines" because a Super Monkey Ball stage was given the name "Slopes" instead. But due to a programming error, it was given the name "Tub."
- In Banana Mania only, there is non-solid ground under the second slope in Story Mode, which can most easily be accessed by using the jump feature.
- Additionally, this ground uses the underside texture on the top side. Furthermore, the slope directly above it uses an incorrect texture on its underside, using one of the grass textures instead of the underside texture.
