Palarvar Lava (プーリンかざん Puurin Volcano) is the 5th world of Super Monkey Ball: Touch & Roll.

The soundtrack for this world has been remixed for Volcanic Pools in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz.

Description

This world takes place inside an active volcano; the stages are placed within a massive vortex of magma which flows up towards the volcano's crater.

  • The meaning of "palarvar" is yet unknown.
    • It could be derived from "palava", which is Finnish for "burning".
    • It could also be derived from the English word "palaver", which means "unnecessary work and trouble". This could be interpreted as "going into this volcano is unnecessary and risky".
  • The internal name for this world is VOLCANO.
  • The Japanese name for the world is a corruption of 風林火山 (Fuurinkazan), a Japanese expression meaning "as swift as wind, as gentle as forest, as fierce as fire, as unshakable as mountain".
