Sliders is the 25th Expert floor in Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball, and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, as well as the 44th Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe and the 154th Ultimate stage with continues (194th without continues) and the 66th Marathon stage of Super Monkey Ball in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania. In Super Monkey Ball Deluxe's Challenge Mode, it erroneously has its name swapped with Windy Slide.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 8-12 and is given a 7 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description
This floor is more straightforward than most Expert floors, but it is still considered hard. It features a set of seven semicircular platforms. These semicircular platforms are adjoined together in a linear pattern. The semicircular platforms are sloped downwardly, very slightly. There are bananas located where the semicircular platforms adjoin.
Goal Tutorial
To get to the goal, roll gently off onto the first semicircular platform, and then push forward as much as you can to make it up to the next, semicircular platform. Brake slightly once you have just made it to the next, semicircular platform. Then, push forward as much as you can to make it up to the next, semicircular platform. Repeat this pattern until you make it to the goal. If you get stuck, it is nearly impossible to get out, but you can try by gaining as much speed as possible.
Trivia
- There is an extremely difficult shortcut which involves the player precisely sliding over the adjoined sections of each semicircular platform, going straight to the goal.
