Arctic
Arctic is a world in Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball Jr., Super Monkey Ball (N-Gage), Super Monkey Ball Deluxe and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania. The soundtrack for this world of Super Monkey Ball has been remixed in Super Monkey Ball Jr. and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.
Description
This world depicts an icy ocean landscape with icebergs floating on it, similarly to the Arctic ocean. Surrounding the stage are floating islands with igloos on them, which are inhabited by penguins. Big snowflakes gently fall from the sky. Although the stages are made of snow and ice, this does not affect monkey ball's traction. The icy floor causes a mirror effect.
In Monkey Ball, this world is very different, taking place above a different icy ocean with none of the decorative background objects.
In Banana Mania, there are also small snowflakes gently falling from the sky, and the icy floor doesn't cause a mirror effect.

Trivia
- Arctic and Banana Island are the only worlds not to have any warp goals.
- Desert and Space have no warp goals in Super Monkey Ball but do in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe.
- Although the world is clearly modelled after the Arctic, with sea ice and the absence of a land mass, the stage also contains penguins, which are native to Antarctica, and not the Arctic.
- For unknown reasons, in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, this world's soundtrack is replaced with Sky High's, and Space is given this world's soundtrack instead.
- This world's theme is reused in Super Monkey Ball Adventure as one of the randomly selected themes in that game's Challenge Mode.
- The Super Monkey Ball intro features a scene of this world. It shows MeeMee balancing on an iceberg.
- In Banana Mania, the Frozen Highway results screen doesn't show up near the track since it is far away or at the bottom.
