Oceanus (マーレ大陸 Mare Continent) is the eighth world in Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble. Its name is Latin for "ocean" or "sea", with "mare" also meaning sea.

Description

Oceanus takes place within the ruins of a city flooded by a stormy sea. The city appears to be inspired by Ancient Greece, and may be based on Atlantis. The ruins contain temples, pillars, stone statues and some floating islands containing domes. The main temple features a statue of a large king merman holding a trident, with two flaming pillars on either side. Coral and moss have grown all over the ruins. Lightning strikes occur frequently in the background.

In EX stages, the world takes place during somewhat clearer weather.
