Character customization
Character customization is a feature in Banana Mania and Banana Rumble. This feature allow the player to customize their monkey with various unlockable accessories, including clothes, ball patterns, and more. This feature is typically limited to the base roster of characters and is not compatible with additional base game or DLC characters.
In Banana Mania
Character customization in Banana Mania is split into 4 categories:
- Headwear
- Clothing
- Shoes
- Ball
Most items can be obtained from the Points Shop, while a select few items are obtainable through other means as downloadable content. Outfits can be equipped on a character-by-character basis and are usable in both Main Game and Party Game modes.

In Banana Rumble
The release of Banana Rumble saw the return of the customization system, greatly improved from its previous iteration. Over 300+ customization parts can be obtained through a wider variety of means. As usual, a good chunk of customization parts can be purchased from the Shop with Points, but the majority of items are distributed as seasonal content rewards through the game's Battle Mode Season Pass. These limited time rewards rotate in and out every 2 weeks and can only be obtained during those times.
The parts are split between 9 types this time around, which are:
- Headwear
- Facial Wear
- Clothes
- Back
- Handwear
- Footwear
- Outfits
- Balls
- Effects
Additionally, there is a set of 80 customization parts that can only be obtained through the Lucky Monkey Lottery, a gacha system that grants daily rewards to players for playing at least one match of Battle Mode on any given day.
